Among many absolute beautiful and romantic cities,
with medieval curvy and romantic lanes and impressive buildings of all epochs
and squares - most in Europe! - I have to think about a categorization of my
three most beautiful cities I have seen.
On the
American continent it is certainly San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. It is a
magical city and like all would imagine Mexico, to me much better than
Guanajuato or Acapulco, other official pueblo
magicos and the opposite of the utmost boring Cancun that has nothing to do
with Mexico at all, was a village of 600 fishermen until recently and now full
of utmost boring and tall hotel buildings. Also when it comes to astrology it
is so boring and empty; the best example of a artificial city without soul.
Maybe like Dubai.
Almost all is nice in Europe
In Europe it is almost not possible to decide for a best city as there are thousand beautiful cities and so impressive of all kind. However, Venice has to be mentioned, due to all the rivers, stunning bridges, lanes, it’s very important history and carnival but also the big and so colorful city of Napoli / Naples due to its nice decorations all across the huge center, its three impressive castles and its stunning location not just on a coast but at a bay with a very long promenade and hundreds of so stylish restaurants. Compared to Milan it is the opposite and also with regards to prices.
And, just to mention, in Germany - with the nicest city Danzig / Gdanks on old German territory - the biggest /
big cities are not the most beautiful anymore because all – not just Dresden or
Hamburg- were , by an unnecessary war crime, destroyed in the last month of the Second World
War by the British Airforce while Germany has not destroyed York- their most
beautiful city to me- or anything else but military complexes only.
