Recently, very suddenly, I slightly begun to change my opinion about Operation Olive Branch and for the sake of peace in the region wondered if I was not better, yes, to have a real Kurdish state.
Terror attacks could belong to the past and Kurds from Turkey could move to this new state. Arabs could continue living there or leave for Iraq or Syria as it could be negotiated. Bloodshed would have an end.

However, if all 6000 people in the world of around 200 states do want their own country; where might this end?! Certainly in endless conflicts because humans still measure in territory and size. Nobody would like to give away a part of their own country? Would my country Germany do this and give a part to the Jews or to the Palestine people? No, they have not even offered it once, even though there was the Holocaust fabricated by them.
Then, furthermore, were the Kurds treated worse than other minor groups
in other countries? Certainly not! In the past and in nowadays Turkey they have
the same rights, and at least now again can practice their religion, whatever
it is, like the Turks, their language and even are members of the Parliament.
Maybe schoolbooks are in Turkish- that is all! During the tolerant Ottoman Empire
it was the same only non-Muslims had to pay more taxes.
Last but not least, a new state, as shows experience, also can cause
huge new, even unforeseen, trouble! Look at Israel! What endless conflict they
have with the Palestine? What harassment they have to endure? Normally once can
say, that Israel also could have lived as a minority group on Palestine soil,
however, there is the Old Testament and JHWH s /Allah s commandment for this
people to take this land and to do it by force.
Anyway, as the following pictures and maps demonstrate, it is unlikely that Kurds, on the short or long run, accept a own state that is not on which is nowadays Turkish territory, as to a great part they live in Turkey now. Because of all of this I think it might be NOT a good idea. Operation Olive Branch is unfortunatelly necessary!
